When I went to Korea I was just amazed at how polite people were, how respectful they were of other individuals in public, and of course how they just lived their daily lives. I felt I had a similar experience when I was in France, Italy, and Spain. Not so much in England. However, despite all of these experiences I loved returning home. As much as I wished America will take on some of these traits I love our American culture and it feels like home. If I ever go to a country where I feel like home then I'll probably will never come back to the US. It's such a great outlook to have, ...LOVE this. It's such a great outlook to have, and I'm glad you're keeping it going in your normal lives. I've never been to Australia, but I came to a similar realization after I went to Toronto with my sister in the spring. Everybody was nicer, healthier, and from what we could tell, happier. What blew me away the most was how accommodating everyone was. A couple of times, people actually approached us and asked if we needed directions/a cab/whatever. It was so welcoming! That has literally never happened to me before, and I was kind of sad because I know the average American would never do that.Paige @ Little Nostalgiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11978050087934003216noreply@blogger.com
