About

I'm Heidi, a small town Indiana girl that made her way to Baltimore somehow. My husband Andrew and I live in an old, historic row house with our chocolate lab Lilah and orange tabby Finn. Here are a few quick things you might want to know:

• I run a small indie business in which I make greeting cards and stationery.
• I recently quit my day job of six years, teaching in Baltimore City, to pursue my business full time.
• I love life, music, food, art, and design and like to blog about all of it. 
• I was a barista at the coffeehouse in my home town for six years and in my college town for one. I want my next job to be be owning my own coffeehouse. 
• I love being the one behind the camera, but hate being in front of it. 
• I'm tall. Finding pants that are long enough is a huge problem in my world, but I love wearing heels to be even taller. 
• I'm the last person you'll see dancing in public, but I love to dance and sing at the top of my lungs while I'm cooking in the kitchen. 
• I'm incredibly stubborn and hard-headed, especially on subjects I'm passionate about. I try not to write about those things on my blog in order to stay out of trouble. 
• I am an ice cream fiend. If possible, I have a few scoops every night. This may be my downfall. When I die of a heart attack at age 34, you can blame it on clogged arteries from eating too much ice cream from the time I was a kid. 
• I lived in Australia for study abroad in college. If I could take all of my friends and family with me, I'd move there without hesitation. 
• I'm a homebody that's pretty shy-- a complete introvert. Even most of our friends don't know this about me, thanks to Andrew and his extroverted ways.
